Most everyone thinks that they actually eat wood, but they do not. But what they do is just as damaging to the home. They hollow out the wood of your home as they make tunnels. This puts the structural integrity of your home at risk. They are attracted to moist, rotten wood. The type of ant and where it is seen will determine the treatment plan for you. Most of the time, we prefer to treat inside and outside if you are seeing ants around the foundation of the home because we need to control them from both sides. If you are unsure of having chemicals sprayed inside your home, we have a low toxicity gel bait that can be used for inside treatment around counter tops and in cabinets. When we spray inside, an inside spray is primarily cracks and crevices. We do not spray all over your furniture or walls.
