“Sleep tight and don’t let the bed bugs bite!” This may have been what your mother always told you, and you just thought she was kidding. We all wish she was! The scientific name is Cimex Lectularius and they are what we commonly call bed bugs. Bed bugs can be found in many areas of your homes, but they are mainly found in your bedrooms. The reason for this is human blood is the food source for bed bugs. According to the United States Protection Agency, unlike most other public health pests they don’t transmit or spread diseases. If you get bed bugs, it does not mean that you are not a clean person. The cleanest people can still have bed bugs.
